Bio

Christopher Charles Mintz-Plasse (born June 20, 1989) is an American actor who debuted as Fogell/"McLovin" in the 2007 comedy Superbad.

Born in Los Angeles, California,[1] he had no acting experience other than drama classes in school before appearing in Superbad. He attended El Camino Real High School from 2003 to 2007. Mintz-Plasse was cast in the role of McLovin after auditioning with two high school friends.[2] He had no professional head shots before the audition and just took a head shot with his camera phone.[3]

Mintz-Plasse was tutored on set, then went back to school for two months before graduating.[4] His mother was required by law to be on set while filming his sex scene because he was only 17 years old at the time of filming.[5] Mintz-Plasse will next appear opposite Paul Rudd in the David Wain film Little Big Men, and is performing voiceover work for the animated film How to Train Your Dragon.[6]

In 2008, he had a cameo on Jimmy Kimmel Live singing in the chorus during the segment "I'm Fucking Ben Affleck".
